A unique item that combines the style of a button-down shirt with the functionality of outerwear. Deep action pleats on both sides of the back and three pleats on the elbows provide excellent movement.
The 3-piece construction under the armpits makes this shirt jacket even more mobile.
The vintage outdoor shirt I used as a sample was designed by a manufacturer that was a contractor for the US military in the 40s and 50s, and the experience of military wear was directly applied to the outdoor jacket.
