Suggested fabrics: Use a lightweight knit fabric with at least 75% horizontal stretch. Fabric with good drape, such as one with rayon or bamboo content, is ideal. The cowl will drape lower if using 4-way stretch fabric and higher if using 2-way stretch fabric.
