Suggested fabrics: Chose a supple light to medium weight fabric. As far as fibres are concerned, cotton, linen, silk are appropriate. Opt for poplin, batiste, crepe, double gauze, thin canvas, broderie anglaise, chiffon. You can customise this top in many ways depending on the fabric you choose for the yoke.
